this is a 90 gallon fish tank. it has only been used as a fish tank. you can set the tank up as a freshwater or saltwater tank. right now it is set up as a salt water tank, but before that it was freshwater. this is a complete set up. it comes with tank, stand, lighting, a powerhead, heater, glass tops, undergravel filter, over the back filter and live salt water rocks. if you would like to leave this as a saltwater tank you would need new crushed coral for the substrate. this is a wonderful size tank for beginners and hobbyists. please feel free to contact me at 540-943-4121. thanks for looking and take care
